Shetland Knitting Belt
The Shetland Knitting belt is unique to our islands.
The belt, (in dialect “Maakin’” belt) is used to enable one-handed knitting, or to use three pins for “in the round” Fair Isle patterns.
Dog Collars and Leads
Superb quality bridle leather, solid brass fittings, hand stitched. The very best.
Bridlework
All our bridlework and tack is made on our premises using only the finest quality English leather,with solid brass or stainless steel fittings, by a fully skilled craftsman.
Belts
We use only the very best top grain bridle leather for our belts, with solid brass, or high quality pewter buckles.
The belts are hand stitched for extra strength (not riveted), and hand finished and polished

In these beautiful but remote islands we manufacture some of the finest bridlework and tack, bags and belts available anywhere in the world.
